Welcome to Simon, Jo, Malachi & Zach!

This month we welcome our new curate, the soon-to-be Reverend Simon Phipps and his family. It's so great to have them joining us and we pray that God will greatly bless them, and bless us through them. Please pray for the family as they settle in Huddersfield, for Simon's retreat and ordination on Saturday 2nd July, and for a school place for Malachi.

Superstars (younger children) and YBs (11 to 18 years old) are meeting during the services (2nd and 4th Sundays in the month). YBs  have also held some social events.

Life Groups Our life groups are meeting fortnightly. You are most welcome to join any of our groups. For more information Click HERE to see the LifeGroups page.

Little Toms - Our free carer and toddler/baby group runs in Church on Mondays during term time (from 1.30pm to 3.00pm).  The page for Little Toms can be found HERE.

Can You Help?

There's lots of opportunities to share in the work of building God's Kingdom here at Bradley St Thomas. At the moment we're looking for volunteers:

Join our Superstars and YB leadership teams. We'd love to have enough volunteers to hold these groups more often than twice a month. Speak to Helen Bennett or Helen Jamieson.

Join our Bible readers and intercessors' teams. Speak to Ruth Coates.

Deanery Synod Reps: At Bradley, we’re also looking for a couple of people to become our Deanery Synod Representatives. This involves attending about four meetings each year to discuss church matters across our local area. It’s the place we hear from the diocese and from General Synod, and where we can petition our diocese and General Synod. Deanery Synod Reps also become ex-officio members of the PCC and can attend those meetings too if they wish.

The Bread and Butter ThingVolunteer training is scheduled for Friday 8 July. The launch week is Friday 15th July. We’re looking for two types of volunteer: Those who will commit weekly (or at least three times a month) and those who will commit to helping once a month. Have a think which group you might join.
